The table had a damged rule joint, a large chunk missing from one of the leaves, a perished finish and missing drawer knobs. The table was disassembled and repairs made to the top and the rule joint. New handles turned and fitted and then coloured to match. The polish was perished and removed before then being repolished in shellac.
