Stobart Piano now at Chawton House Museum
After recently completing a full restoration with extensive cabinet and veneer repairs followed by complete removal of the old polish and refinishing to provide a subtle finish in keeping with the period, this early Stobart piano from the same period as Jane Austen has now been incorporated into the lounge at Chawton House.
