| One of the legs had been broken and then stuck back with PVA, broken off again and the integrity of the fit lost. The damaged wood was removed. |
The pedestal top had been damaged with one side of the hinge ripped off. |
The opposite side to the hinge had a small catch that held the banjo catch iunto position. This had been ripped off and the small catch lost. |

| A new piece of timber was insereted onto the bottom of the leg and to reinforce it a large screw was inserted. |
A patch was fitted into the damaged area and a new hinge shaped. |
On the opposite side a patch was fitted. |
